Houston Texans Tickets And Seating Chart
Established in 2002, the Houston Texans are currently members of the Southern Division of the American Football Conference (AFC), which is in the National Football League (NFL). They're a young team as compared to some of their competitors but that doesn't stop them from enjoying the game and being relatively good at what they do once they're on the field. Principal owner Bob McNair and minority owner Chuck Watson are the two major players who come to the attention of the public when it comes to the Houston Texans but The Harris County Sports Authority also has an interest as a minority owner of the team.
With the 2009 season now completed coaches, players, staff and fans can look back on an interesting season that started off well but did experience some peaks and dips during the course of the season. At a glance, it appeared that when the Houston Texans did well, they were absolutely fantastic such as the November 1 game against the Bills where the Houston Texans defeated their opponents and took home a victory with a winning score 31-10. But critics of the team might argue just as fervently for the game against the Jets earlier in the season on September 13 when the Houston Texans just couldn't seem to keep their hands on the ball and loss the game 7-24.
In the last game of the season against the Patriots on January 3, the Houston Texans once again came to the field equipped to show everyone the stuff they were made of. Although the Patriots kept the game interesting, when the final buzzer rang, the Houston Texans had scored 34 points to close out the season with a victory 34-27 over the Patriots. With optimism and promise, the fans are looking forward to the 2010 season this year and the excitement that this team brings to the field in every game.
All of the home games for the Houston Texans are played at Reliant Stadium. Located at Two Reliant Park in Houston, Texas, the Reliant Stadium was first opened in August, 2002. At cost of more than $300 million to construct and has a seating capacity of 72, 744. Reliant Stadium has been home to not only the Houston Texans but the Texas Bowl every year since 2006, the Bayou Bucket in 2004, and the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo since 2002. Other exciting events that have been held at Reliant Stadium include Super Bowl XXXVII in 2004 and WrestleMania XXV in 2009.
