Jacoby Ford break the record in 40-yard dash at NFL Combine on Sunday in Indianapolis. Jacoby Ford run 40-yard dash at NFL Combine in 4.28 seconds and break the record.
As per the official NFL Combine records, previously Chris Johnson ran 40-yard dash in 4.24 seconds in the year 2008.Oklahoma State quarterback Zac Robinson, receivers Golden Tate of Notre Dame, Taylor Price of Ohio University, Mike Williams of Syracuse, Damian Williams of USC, and Carlton Mitchell of South Florida are some of the players who performed well in drills and physical tests.
In the Sunday's NFL Combine, Jacoby Ford really impressive and fast and impressed some teams with his highlighted performance.
There are still a few positions left to run the 40-yard dash at the NFL combine, but it is not easy to overcome the Jacoby Ford.
Ford was also the only wide receiver at the combine to run a 10-yard split below 1.5 seconds -- 1.45. Ford was a track star in college and ran a 4.126-40 in high school.
Tennessee defensive back player Eric Berry says that He shoulde be No.1 in the NFL draft.
Eric Berry answered all the top selected questions from a large group of media at the Nfl Combine with lot of confidence and pride. His answers impressed all the people at the NFL Combine.
Eric Berry did not hesitate while answering to the question like if he was the most talented player in the draft and simply replied that, " No need to elobrate on it".
"I don't think something like a position should prevent someone from being picked," he told, "but if you wanna go into position, I played almost every position on the field. Under Coach Kiffin's scheme, you could say that I played a lot of linebacker ... I play either safety spot ... natural corner.".
Eric Berry also told that, he didn't think twice about leaving the college to enter in to the draft. Eric also said that his father recently under went heart surgery and also believing that he should be the first player taken in the draft.
"Monte told me I'd be a fool to stay," Berry told. Troy Polamalu, Ed Reed and the late Sean Taylor are the main helpers to his game.
"People treated me like I had the plague last season," he added.

The NFL Draft $1.99 This is the eBook version of the printed book. This Element is an excerpt from Stumbling On Wins: Two Economists Expose the Pitfalls on the Road to Victory in Professional Sports (9780132357784) by David J. Berri and Martin B. Schmidt. Available in print and digital formats. Why NFL teams’ conventional approach to the draft just doesn’t work--and what they should be doing instead. If the NFL draft worked according to conventional wisdom, the greatest surplus value would be found at the top of the draft. However, the data suggests that picks in the top half of the second round have the greatest surplus value. This means teams in the first round, especially at the top, should be making every effort to trade down. They’ve traditionally done the opposite.... |

The Draft $9.99 An explosive look at the NFL Draft from the inside out that exposes the multilayered feeding frenzy that swarms around America's top college players. The Draft follows a handful of NFL hopefuls through the ups and downs of the 2004 college football season and the predraft process, culminating with the 2005 draft. Among the prospects are Virginia defensive end Chris Canty, who overcomes a devastating early-season knee injury to reestablish himself as a top draft hopeful, only to suffer a detached retina in a nightclub skirmish; and Fred Gibson, a talented but rail-thin Georgia wide receiver who struggles to put on the weight needed to go over the middle in the NFL. It's a complex environment, with college coaches attempting to protect their "student-athletes" from exploitation (while fully aware that they can only remain competitive if they attract NFL-caliber players to their schools), along with sports agents and NFL scouts trying to stay a step ahead of their competition. These parties provide a multi-angled view of the world of emerging NFL talent. The reader follows the season through the eyes of a host of power players and scouts, from veteran agent Pat Dye Jr. to Jerry Maguire clone Jack Scharf, to the coaching divisions of Florida State University and the University of Virginia---headed by longtime Bill Parcells disciple Al Groh. Also central to the narrative are the Atlanta Falcons and executives Rich McKay and Tim Ruskell (now with Seattle), who use a character-based evaluation system to set their draft board. These parallel stories weave together, culminating in draft weekend, to create a gripping and fascinating look at a world few see from the inside. |

That selection was provided by the 1999 National Football League Expansion Draft, held on February 9, 1999. 130 players were left unprotected by their teams for the Browns to draft. NFL Draft Advisory Board $70.1 High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles The board was created in 1994 to assist those college football players who were eligible to continue playing NCAA football but also met the requirements to make themselves eligible to be drafted by pro football teams. Although the NFL had begun permitting such underclassmen to place their name into the draft as early as 1989, within a few years it was clear that many of them had been deluded by commissionbased sports agents as to the likely demand by teams and the actual negotiated salaries to be arrived at. Once a college football player has entered the draft, he is no longer eligible to play college football. Thus, it was important that such players have a good grasp of whether they would be among the small number of players drafted and what the payment might be, before committing to the process. Author: Surhone, Lambert M./ Tennoe, Mariam T./ Henssonow, Susan F. Binding Type: Paperback Number of Pages: 94 Publication Date: 2010/08/16 Language: English Dimensions: 6.00 x 9.02 x 0.23 inches |
