Bill Mack Original Art – Come See Relief Sculpture at Its Finest
Bill Mack is certainly a phenomenon in the art world. Viewing his relief sculpture is moving and evokes an emotional response. He has no mentor and you can't learn the techniques from a simple art class. Bill Mack has created his original art for decades now, and the influence he has had on the contemporary art world is fittingly quite substantial.
Bill Mack began his art career quite by accident. At the age of 17, he was working for a company that made bronze dedication tablets. When another employee's work seemed to lack the quality needed, Mack gave it a try. His talent was immediately realized and his career began. Working on a commission basis, his success was almost instantaneous and today, Bill Mack sculpture can be found around the world in museums, galleries, private collections, business offices, and governmental buildings. His original art includes a sculpture of Peggy Fleming in the United States Figure Skating Hall of Fame, Lyle Alzado in the NFL Hall of Fame, Kareem Abdul-Jamar in the NBA Hall of Fame, and a sculpture entitled "Lady" on permanent display in the Statue of Liberty National Monument.
His original work is stunning and in very high demand. He only produces a few works each year, mostly during the winter months. He lives in Minnesota and says the weather there during the winter allows for fewer distractions. If you are interested in a Bill Mack original art sculpture, be prepared to pay quite a bit for the honor.
He is also an avid art collector and has pieces from many other great artists, including Picasso, Miro, Chagall, and Leroy Neiman. He also has several historic letters from past presidents, including Washington, Jefferson, Lincoln, and Kennedy. An avid movie buff, he loves to collect original movie costumes, such as the Cowardly Lion from the Wizard of Oz and the suit worn by Lon Chaney from the Phantom of the Opera.
For reasons never revealed, Bill Mack starts his day with a fresh rose pinned to his lapel. He orders thousands of roses each year, giving hundreds away at his showings and is the largest non-commercial buyer of roses in the United States. He is no ordinary man, but perhaps that is what brings so much to his original art.
Bill Mack original art can be purchased through private sellers, galleries, some auction houses, and a few online art brokers. It would be difficult to duplicate his work, but as expected, some have tried. Always purchase any original art from a trusted source. A certificate of authenticity should accompany each and every piece.
